It's been a few weeks since the curtains dropped for the SEMA aftermarket show, but GM had a very SEMA-like concept version ready for the Los Angeles Auto Show in the guise of the West Coast-inspired 2015 Chevrolet Colorado beach patrol vehicle – the only thing missing from the stage was Mitch Buchannon.
The Detroit automaker stated that, "the show truck demonstrates one of the many ways the new Colorado can be accessorized".
Chevrolet also had a black-colored, civilian version of the all-new mid-size truck outfitted with side steps, a bike rack and other parts that will be on offer when it hits dealers next year with a choice of two engines, a standard 193hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder and an optional 302hp 3.6-liter V6, with a diesel to follow later on.
