Audi Prologue Concept Imagined as a Convertible

Rumor has it that Audi will build an A9 luxury coupe based on the Prologue Concept, which has recently been unveiled in a new color with an autonomous driving technology and a hybrid powertrain.

Review Says Audi S1 is Pricey but Worth It

The Audi S1 is unquestionably the fastest and most advanced supermini-sized hot hatch. It’s the only one with all-wheel drive and it’s considerably more powerful than anything else its size – all this plus the posh badge do make it a bit expensive, though.

Audi SQ5 Faces Off BMW X4 and Porsche Macan in Diesel Premium SUV Battle

One can see where the attraction of the SUV (or crossover, sport activity vehicle or whatever else the carmakers come up with) comes from. Simply put, it’s a spacious family car for those who don’t want to be seen a traditional family car like an estate or an MPV.

Audi TT Sportback and Offroad Concepts Driven… Very Slowly

When we asked which of the TT concepts you’d like Audi to build, most votes went to the Sportback Concept. Like the Offroad Concept, it isn't really road legal, but Auto Week has managed to get behind the wheel.

Audi 525PS A3 Clubsport Quattro

Let's be straight; Audi's new A3 Clubsport Quattro Concept is an RS3 in everything but the name, from its appearance with the boxed fenders to the five-cylinder turbocharged engine grunting under the hood. And perhaps one of the reasons why Audi is displaying it at this week's Wörthersee Meeting in Austria is to get some feedback from its most loyal customers.

Audi Brings Out Q3 Camping Tent Concept and Customized SQ5 and A1 at Wörthersee

It might be the mother of all Golf GTI festivals, but over the years, the Wörthersee Tour in Austria has also become an arena for all of VW Group's mainstream brands to display a mix of concepts, new products and cars. At this year's gathering and among other goods, Audi brought along a newly developed concept with the self-explanatory name, “Q3 Camping Tent”.

New 2016 Audi Q7 Tester Spied

Here are the latest photos of the upcoming 2016MY Audi Q7 SUV, with this prototype shedding more light in regards to its looks, as it was fitted with more production-ready front and rear end components including the slender headlamps and taillights, and the integrated exhaust pipes, compared to the warehouse leftovers used on the previous tester we spied about a month ago in Germany.

Yet Another Audi RS6 Tune with a Supercar-like Punch Under its Hood

Apparently, there are many European and in particular, German owners of the Audi RS6 Avant who aren't content with the twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8's 552-horses (560PS) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of peak torque that secure a 0-100km/h (62mph) time of 3.9 seconds.

Audi Keeps Current TT in the U.S. for Another Year with New Features

The all-new Audi TT won’t arrive in the United States until 2015, so until then, the German automaker hopes to keep the current-generation model fresh enough by introducing a few equipment-related updates for the 2015 model year.

Audi Driver is Having a Dialogue of the Deaf with the Voice Recognition System

Automakers should admit that their voice recognition systems have plenty of room for improvement, as the following video will demonstrate. A Norwegian driver of an Audi has been filmed by the passenger while he was trying to convince his car to play the music he wants.

Next-Gen Audi R8 Spied Again on the 'Ring

It must be a rather mind-numbing job working at Audi's design division in recent years, especially if your assignment orbits around replacing or updating existing models and not conceptual or completely new projects.

Spied: Audi Brushes Up A6 with a Tiny Facelift

Looking at the camouflaged A6 pictured here and knowing how Audi's styling department works these days, I imagine one could easily pass these photos for the next generation C8, but it's not; what we have here is an oh, so miniscule facelift for the current model that should be presented before the year's end– possibly in Paris this September.

Spy Shots: New Audi S1 Quattro Hot Hatch for the Masses, Previews A1 Facelift Too

Looks like Audi will try to please (at least partially) all those who were unable to obtain one of the 333 examples of the limited run 256PS (253bhp) A1 Quattro with the release of a slightly less potent and extreme, but regularly available S1 Quattro hot hatch.

Spied here wearing its production body parts, this S1 Quattro prototype also previews an upcoming facelift for the rest of the A1 range as it was fitted with re-shaped headlamps and revised taillights.

Along with the three-door version seen in these photos, Audi will also release a five-door S1 Quattro Sportback, with both cars featuring a light bodykit with the usual "S" cosmetic upgrades including bigger wheels, a dedicated front grille, sport bumpers, aero parts and quad exhaust tips.

Under the hood, Audi is believed to use a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing somewhere around 220-hp paired to its all-wheel drive 'quattro' system.

Look for the S1 in Europe next year.

Spied: Audi Preparing to Freshen Up the A7 Sportback

Our spy photographers have just grabbed a few shots of Audi's elegant rival to the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe and Mercedes-Benz CLS, the A7 Sportback, with half of its body clad in camouflage, which means only one thing: there's a facelift brewing.

They only managed to get pictures of the A7's rear end and profile (before having to…leave), in which we see the new and more integrated exhaust tips, revised tail lamp cluster and graphics – and lets not forget, the larger than life, third stop light that takes up the entire width of the rear hatch.

The rest of the changes remain unknown, but Audi may follow a similar recipe with the facelifted A8 luxury sedan gifting the A7 with improved engines, new tech features such as the Matrix LED headlights along with minor interior updates to keep the car relevant in the market.

D'oh! Audi Employee Forgets Handbrake, Car Falls and Almost Crushes Him

If by any chance you happen to be employed at a car dealership / service center, you can (and should) put this to your "must-do" list of things to check and complete: always make sure that a parked vehicle is in gear (manual gearbox) or in Park (automatic transmission) and that the handbrake has been pulled all the way up.

What is that you say; "who cares about handbrakes, they're only useful around corners and on the move"? Sure, you can choose to not listen, but don't come back saying we didn't warn you when you fall in the same pickle as this young gentleman from Moscow, Russia.

He did none of the above and look at what happened to him; he almost got killed when an Audi A3 came falling down from a lift...

Luckily, he lived to tell the embarrassing tale to his boss and the unfortunate owner of the car.

Audi's Luxurious A8 W12 Exclusive Limited Series, Only 50 Units to Be Made [Updated]

Update: Audi has finally released a full gallery of photos of the new A8 W12 Exclusive

Audi will build a special edition of its recently refreshed A8 flagship sedan. Available only with the 500PS (493hp) 6.0-liter W12 engine and, subsequently, only as a long-wheelbase model, the A8 Exclusive will be built at the Quattro GmbH facility in Neckarsulm.

Strictly limited to 50 units, the small-series production model will be produced beginning in March 2014. Audi has only released one photo of the new model which shows the interior of the car, where the most significant upgrades were added compared to the standard A8 L W12 model (featured in the photo gallery below).

The seats are covered in aniline leather in the color Agatha cognac, produced by Italian designer furniture maker Poltrona Frau. Audi says this leather is particularly soft and natural looking. The center sections of the seats feature diamond quilting, while the inlays are made of fine grain olive ash natural silver brown.

The gray-brown shade matches the granite gray piping, stitching and central pleat of the seats. The granite gray shade is also found on the steering wheel, the door top shoulders and the upper section of the instrument panel, which is covered with Nappa leather. The headlining features snow white Alcantara, the rear shelf is covered with cognac brown Alcantara and the carpeting is jet gray.

Audi says each of the 50 vehicles will have a special logo on the door sill trims, but doesn’t say anything about exterior upgrades.
