Nearly 200 vehicles were involved in a massive pileup along a snowy I-94 in Michigan Friday morning, killing a trucker and injuring two dozen people.

Rat Rod Diesel Pickup Used for Towing and Drag Racing

Looking over from Europe at the kinds of crazy modded pickups folks have over in the US, one is impressed by their diversity. We have canyon carvers, EVs, ones that sound like 1980s rally cars and even ones that never officially existed…

Ford F-150 Semi Truck Stuck on the Beach

Yes, we had the same question when we first saw this video: what the heck was a semi-truck doing on the beach in the first place? Whatever the answer or reason, the truck was stuck in the sandy beach of South Padre Island in Texas. Amazingly, all it took was a decisive driver and a single Ford F-150 pickup truck.

Sounds of Lamborghini Aventador Scraping the Road will Make You Cringe

Yes, yes, this is the now infamous matte-black Lamborghini Aventador LP640-4 that went airborne after colliding with a Mazda2, before striking a parked BMW 3 in London this past Sunday, stirring quite a commotion in the online world, with some people placing the blame on the tall Japanese hatch, but most, on the Italian supercar's driver.

FedEx Driver has a Bad Day

Just like every profession and industry in general have their ups and downs, so do the professionals who practice them. Most of the times, mishaps and blunders remain hidden from public view, but occasionally, our camera-obsessed world captures these delicate Moments of Zen.

Now, That's What I Call Quick Thinking

Once in a very rare while, you can luck out and get yourself out of trouble avoiding an accident the last second, just like the two drivers featured in the following (unrelated) videos.

Beware of the Truck Before You Look Out for the Potholes

You have to feel for this poor driver who was traveling on a pothole-infested highway near the town of Buzuluk in eastern Russia.

While the person behind the wheel was trying his or her (the gender is not clear, but we do hear a female-like groaning in the end along with some chirping sounds of the same type you see in cartoons when someone is knocked in the head…) best to avoid all sorts of holes and badly nicked sections of asphalt without endangering the lives of other road users, a senseless truck driver thought it would be a good idea to attempt a passing on the opposite side.

And yes, there was a crash, but luckily, it wasn't a deadly one. See how this incident played out in the dash-cam footage that follows below.

This Volvo Trucks Ad with Jean-Claude Van Damme will Split Your Mind

Volvo Trucks continues its series of creative commercials with a new ad featuring Belgian martial artist and movie star Jean-Claude van Damme. Called “The Epic Split”, the commercial has Van Damme perform one of his world-famous splits between two Volvo FM trucks, as they are driven in reverse!

Just like in the previous hamster commercial, the new ad promotes the new Volvo Dynamic Steering system. According to Volvo Trucks, the stunt is a world first and it couldn’t have been done without the precision and stability of the new steering system.

“The stability and control are so good that you can reverse a truck over a long distance with very high precision, which is exactly what we've had to do in this film. It had to be perfect - right down to the last centimetre," said Jan-Inge Svensson, the engineer behind the development of the system's software at Volvo Trucks.

And indeed it was, as you can see in the spectacular video posted below.

Braking Bad: Memphis Fire Truck Rams Concrete Barrier [NSFW]

Bystanders watching an apartment building wrapped in flames in Memphis, Tennessee, last Friday, were up for a second surprise when an approaching fire truck smashed into a fence and concrete barrier.

Fire Director Alvin Benson spoke to local news channel Wreg after the incident and blamed the accident on the 20-year old back-up truck's bad brakes. He added that the fire engine had been inspected hours before, but they found "nothing noticeably wrong with it".

Benson also used the incident as an opportunity to state that the fire department is in need of "a hundred new trucks" to serve Memphis, but they only get a few new ones a year, forcing them to keep older vehicles in service for longer periods.

“Certainly, we have an aging fleet.  It’s worn out, beat down and over time responding to emergencies, it needs to be replaced,” said Joe Norman from the Memphis Fire Fighters Association.

Toyota Models on Flatbed Truck Crunched Under New York Bridge - This Won't Buff Out...

The first question we asked ourselves after watching these videos of a truck full of Toyota cars munched under a metal overpass in New York City, is not how on earth did this happen, but how the heck did we miss it, since this incident purportedly occurred in the beginning of May this year, with each video having only garnered a few hundred views since.

We hope that we can do our bit to assist in fixing the latter. As for the first question posed regarding how could an accident like this take place, we don't have any information in our hands, but we're guessing that it could have been a height miscalculation on the truck driver's behalf.

Whatever it was, he surely had some explaining to do to the owner(s) of the mangled up Toyota Camry and RAV4. Skip past the break to watch the two videos from the recovery process.

You Won't Believe What this Truck Driver Found in the Middle of the Road

Truck drivers have the unique opportunity to see many things while traveling on the road for miles and miles on end, some of which are interesting, some of which are boring and some of which are, well, just plain scary.
Without much debating, we decided that we are going to count this one as odd, shocking and mostly sad, all at the same time.

Oh, the Irony…Russian Driver Listening to The Cure's Song "Close to Me" Sandwiched by Trucks

It's funny how things connect sometimes. A driver, who on YouTube is listed as being from Russia, was driving down a highway on a rainy day while listening to the sounds of a 1985 song from British brand "The Cure" named "Close to me".

Driver's Quick Reaction to Sliding Bus Saves Him a Trip to the Body Shop

Just like not all vehicles are made the same, not all drivers are equal either. Some motorists panic when confronted with a sudden danger, while others, keep their cool and react rationally in the presence of pressure.
This incident that was captured on camera, is said to have taken place in the city of Kostanay in the northern part of Kazakhstan.

Porsche Cayman Coupe Slams Into the Rear End of a Truck without Lights

The driver of a Porsche Cayman coupe was filmed by an adjacent vehicle fitted with a dashboard-mounted camera smashing violently into the rear end of a truck at high speed.
The accident, which looks like it took place in China or at least in a neighboring country (if any of our readers can help with the translation, leave us a message in the comments), occurred when the Cayman driver didn't notice the truck that did not have any lights open at the back and was traveling on the left hand side of the road.

Justice Has Been Served: Frustrated Drivers Knock Over Audi A3 that was Blocking the Road!

Usually, when an insensitive driver double-parks on the road blocking the way to other vehicles, all it takes is a call to the police to get things sorted out. But there comes a time when frustrated drivers take matters into their own hands…
Which is what happened in Exarcheia, a neighborhood in downtown Athens, Greece, when the owner of what looks like a fairly new Audi A3 Sportback parked in front of a couple of large metal trash bins partially blocking the road.
While most passenger cars were able to make it through, a city bus that was making its routine trek around town couldn't fit. The bus driver along with the other drivers that were piling up behind kept honking again and again but to no avail; the owner of the Audi was nowhere to be seen.

Double Fail: Service Crew Flips Double-Decker Truck Full of Cars

The hows and whens of this accident involving a double-decker lorry full of cars that fell on its side dropping the top row of vehicles on the road remains unknown as the video footage your about to see was filmed during the recovery process.
A service truck along with its crew hooked up the 18-wheeler and tried to get it back on its feet. Well, let’s just say the procedure didn’t go as planned as they managed to flip the truck for a second time thus completing the damages on the rest of the vehicles on the bottom row… Video follow after the break.
